The Development of Painting from Primitive to Post-Modern: A Case Study of Egypt

Abstract: In this study, thedevelopment of painting art over long period of time from prehistory to present day was investigated. This study is limited to Egyptian painting. It goes through a sequence of art periods including: Primitive, Pharaonic, Coptic, Islamic, modern and postmodern (contemporary) arts.
