The Development and the Effect of A Preschool Teacher Training Program for Pretend Play Competence

Abstract: This study developed a teacher training program aimed at promoting preschool teachers' competence in relation to pretend play and examined its effects on the teachers' knowledge, efficacy and interaction in pretend play.
