The decays of $$\bar{B}^0$$ B ¯ 0

Abstract: We investigate the decays ofB 0 s ,B 0 and B − into η c plus a scalar or vector meson in a theoretical framework by taking into account the dominant process for the weak decay ofB meson into η c and a qq pair. After hadronization of this qq component into pairs of pseudoscalar mesons we obtain certain weights for the pseudoscalar meson-pseudoscalar meson components. In addition, theB 0 andB 0 s decays into η c and ρ 0 , K * are evaluated and compared to the η c and φ production. The calculation is based on the… Show more

“…[2][3][4][5][6] the a 0 (980) is generated from the K K, πη interaction in coupled channels in the coupled-channel chiral unitary approach [15]. This production mechanism of scalar resonances has been utilized for explaining the B 0 s decays into J/ψ and f 0 (980) [16,17], B 0 decays into D 0 and f 0 (500), f 0 (980) and a 0 (980) [18], D 0 decays into K 0 and f 0 (500), f 0 (980) and a 0 (980) [19], among others [20,21].…”
