Abstract: BACKGROUND: Inflammation plays a central role in the pathophysiology of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), involving neutrophils as non-specific markers of inflammation and lymphocytes as regulatory markers, measured in the form of neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR).
