The global pandemic situation has severely affected all countries. As a result, almost all countries had to adjust to online technologies to continue their processes. In addition, Sri Lanka is yearly spending 10 billion on elections. We have examined a proper way of minimizing the cost of hosting these events online. To solve the existing problems and increase the time potency and cost reduction we have used IoT and ML-based technologies. IoT-based data will identify, register, and be used to secure from fraud, While ML algorithms manipulate the election data and produce winning predictions, weather-based voters’ attendance, and election violence. All the data will be saved in cloud computing and a standard database to store and access the data. This study mainly focuses on four aspects of an E-voting system. The most frequent problems across the world in E-voting are the security, accuracy, and reliability of the systems. E- Government systems must be secured against various cyber- attacks and ensure that only authorized users can access valuable, and sometimes sensitive information. Being able to access a system without passwords but using biometric details has been there for a while now, however, our proposed system of ours has a different approach to taking the credentials, processing, and combining the images, reformatting and producing the output, and tracking. In addition, we ensure to enhance e-voting safety. While ML- based algorithms use different data sets and provide predictions in advance.

The traditional methods of vote counting and recapitulation, which include manual and layered processes, are important to ensuring data security and addressing a lack of understanding of public information technology. However, it is essential to quickly and properly disseminate election results among an increasing number of survey findings within the community. Despite this contradictory scenario, it is imperative to employ information technology tools like SITUNG and SIREKAP to ensure transparent dissemination of election outcomes. The study applies a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting primary and secondary data sources including official documents, journal articles, and textbooks. By using three analysis techniques; first, by tabulating the data; second, to categorize the data; third, interpreting the findings based on the theoretical and construction of the data. The results of this study showed three main challenges to the use of digital-based recapitulation: first, the lack of a clear legal basis for the SITUNG and SIREKAP applications, which has triggered criticism from election participants and observers; second, incomplete system support characterized by limited network connectivity, which has created difficulties for field operators in the local level; and third, inappropriate data management in the SITUNG and SIREKAP applications, which included incorrect data entry. Election organizers should be aware that technology-based recapitulation data can become digital evidence for contesting parties in election courts.

[Bahasa]: Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi pemilihan ketua remaja masjid di Gampong Lambhuk Banda Aceh. Perancangan dan pembuatan sistem ini mengimplementasikan model software development life cycle (SDLC). Model ini merupakan model pengembangan sistem yang paling sederhana. Salah satu model SDLC yang paling banyak diterapkan dan dapat dipahami dengan mudah adalah model waterfall. Metode pengembangan sistem ini mampu menyusun sistem dari bagian-bagian kecil. Model ini diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan dari sistem yang akan dirancang, desain sistem dan software, penerapan dan pengujian, serta evaluasi dan perbaikan sistem. Hasil testing melalui black-box test adalah tidak ditemukan adanya eror ketika aplikasi berbasis web ini dijalankan dan aplikasi ini berjalan dengan lancar. Pemungutan suara menggunakan e-voting ini dapat membantu menjangkau semua pemilih dan pemilih bisa menyampaikan suaranya tanpa harus hadir ke lokasi pemilihan. Implementasi sistem informasi pemilihan (e-voting) Remaja Mesjid ini juga dapat membantu pelaksanaan kegiatan pemilihan ketua remaja masjid berjalan efisien, cepat dan transparan. Kata kunci: e-voting, sistem informasi, Metode SSDLC (System Development Life Cycle), waterfall [English]: This study aims to design an information system to elect mosque youth leaders in Gampong Lambhuk Banda Aceh. The design and manufacture of this system implement the software development life cycle (SDLC) model. This model is the most straightforward system development model. The waterfall model is one of the most widely applied SDLC models and can be easily understood. This system development method can compile a system from small parts. This model begins with analyzing the system's needs, system and software design, implementation and testing, and system evaluation and improvement. The results of testing through black-box tests are that no errors are found when this web-based application is run, and this application runs smoothly. Voting using e-voting can help reach all voters, and voters can cast their votes without having to be present at the election location. Implementing e-voting can also help elect the mosque's youth chairperson. Furthermore, these activities run efficiently, quickly, and transparently.
