The component fatty acids of various sudan vegetable oils

Abstract

In this paper are recorded t h e composition of t h e fatty acids present in t h c fats from t h e following materials : Hypfis spiczgera, Ltcffa cylindrica, Lagenaria virlgaris, Cilrirllzrs vulgaris (var. inedible melon). Courbonia virgafa (Husks and kernels), Capparis toilrenfosa (kernels), and Parinarium curatellafolia.During t h e past two years, the component acids present in a numher of vegetable fats from seeds grown in the Sudan have been dctrrmined in these Laboratories, b u t none of t h e results secmed of sufficient importance t o demand separate publication. I n order t h a t our findings map be placed on record, therefore, a summary of these miscellaneous data is offered in this paper.
