“…The acceptance model of intuitive eating has been cross-sectionally confirmed in various demographic groups, including adolescent girls ( Andrew et al, 2015 ), emerging adult, young adult, and middle adult women ( Augustus-Horvath & Tylka, 2011 ), college women athletes ( Oh et al, 2012 ), physically active college women and men ( Tylka & Homan, 2015 ), and has shown to be invariant across Black, Hispanic, and White women ( Modica & DiLillo, 2023 ).
