Abstract: Consumers are increasingly demanding information regarding the characteristics of products, their place of origin and methods of production. “…Focusing on GI trademarks, scholars have investigated the essence of the conflict between protecting GIs and strengthening special property rights of GIs under the trademark law system by analyzing the legal nature and scope of protection of GIs and general trademarks, and they have also explored the relevant dilemmas from the current situation of judicial application of trademark infringement identification standards of GIs [ 40 ].
