The association between microRNA-21 and hypertension-induced cardiac remodeling

Abstract: Hypertension is a major public health problem among the aging population worldwide. It causes cardiac remodeling, including hypertrophy and interstitial fibrosis, which leads to development of hypertensive heart disease (HHD).
