The anterior tibiofibular ligament has a constant distal fascicle that contacts the anterolateral part of the talus

Abstract: The ATiFL has a constant distal fascicle that is in contact with the talus in the neutral position and in plantar flexion. Contact disappears in maximum dorsiflexion.
