This study aimed to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking abilities through the application of edmodo's assisted discovery learning model. The study was conducted on students of class XI MIPA 2 high school 2018/2019. This study used a true experimental design in the form of a pre-test and post-test control group design. Sampling was done by a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection used reasoned multiple choice test instruments and questionnaires. The result of test analysis of students' critical thinking skills showed that the average post-test value of the experimental class was lower than the control class. The N-gain test result showed that the magnitude of the increasing of the experimental class was 0.43 lower than the control class which is equal to 0.57. The application of edmodo assisted discovery learning model had a positive effect on students' critical thinking abilities with a low category as indicated by the correlation coefficient of 0.37 and the magnitude of the influence given is 14.08%. The conclusion of this study is the application of edmodo assisted discovery learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills. Furthermore, students agree to use edmodo's assisted discovery learning model for acid base learning.

<span lang="EN-US">This research examined a pattern of integration between problem-based learning (PBL) strategy with inquiry in shaping the critical thinking framework and psychosocial of youth-level students. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method. The data sources were derived from documentation, books, and various related articles. Its analytical techniques used deductions, induction, interpretation, and comparison and analysis of multilayered texts. The results of this research showed that the PBL and inquiry strategies had substantial collation and synergy in the process of forming a framework of critical thinking and psychosocial of youth-level students. It was based on the process of implementing both strategies that emphasized the search for solutions to the problems encountered by conducting investigations, hypotheses, testing, data mining supported by teamwork, collaboration, communication, discussion, and coordination. Thus, the use of the PBL strategy and inquiry integratively is highly recommended in the learning process.</span>

This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of the use of the Android-based carom games comic integrated to discovery learning (MIKIMOM) in improving critical thinking and mathematical representation in the teaching of physics. It is quantitative research with the quasi experimental research design. It was conducted in two phases, with the first phase for empirical try out of the test and second phase for the application of MIKIMOM to reveal the effectiveness of the developed media in teaching. The empirical try out was conducted to 261 grade XI MIA students, while the application of the media was conducted to 32 grade X MIA students of State Senior High School (SSHS) 2 Banguntapan using the Power Points materials. The data were collected using a critical thinking and mathematical representation test which was valid and reliable according to the empirical testing. The data were analyzed using the QUEST program to see the validity and reliability of the test items, and the MANOVA test to see the effectiveness of the media. The research finding shows that MIKIMOM is effective in improving the critical thinking and mathematical representation of the students with the scores of 0.287 (large effect size) and 0.179 (medium effect size).
