HighlightsIn the UAEHFS, levels of esRAGE were significantly associated with glycemic status.In the UAEHFS, levels of sRAGE and esRAGE were significantly associated with BMI.In the UAEHFS, sRAGE was associated with waist/hip circumference ratio.The AGE-RAGE axis is associated with glycemia and obesity in an Arab population.
