“…Its 37th edition, organized on 17–22 February of the inter‐Olympic year 2019, almost matched exactly the 50th anniversary of Professor Donike's seminal report on the preparation of N ‐methyl‐ N ‐trimethylsilyl‐trifluoroacetamide (MSTFA), a derivatization reagent that has been used in routine doping controls and other arenas of analytical chemistry ever since. As in the preceding years, over 130 international representatives of all the World Anti‐Doping Agency (WADA)‐accredited laboratories attended the meeting, and the substantial breadth of aspects relevant for current and future antidoping analytical work illustrating its numerous different facets and, accordingly, manifold testing approaches, was the subject of four intense days of scientific presentations and discussions.…”
