A high-resolution spectral analysis of three carbon-enhanced metal-poor stars

Masseron et al (2006) described the remarkable discovery of an apparent thermally pulsing AGB star, CS 30322−023, which exhibits a clear s-process signature, at [Fe/H] = −3.5. Obviously, there are many surprises yet to be revealed concerning the operation of the s-process in the early Galaxy.…”
