This research aims to study the effectiveness of online teaching, from student and faculty perspectives, during the Covid‐19 Pandemic in higher education institutions across India. Using the Student's Evaluation of Online Teaching Effectiveness (SEOTE) scale, a survey was conducted among 1042 students in different Indian universities. The scale measured student faculty contact (SFC), cooperation among students (CAS), active learning (AL), prompt feedback (PF), time on task (TT), high expectations (HE), and diverse talents and ways of learning (DTWL). The research instrument also included three open‐ended questions. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Human Development Index (HDI). The Online Teaching Effectiveness Index (OTEI) value was moderate at 0.62. Challenging aspects of online education were found to be access, learning experience, technology, resources, and infrastructure, the need for face‐to‐face interaction, and the health hazards of long screen time. The survey of 60 faculty members recorded online teaching to be sustainable, backed by institute support, flexible, and creates the possibility of peer learning. Lack of training resources, unsuitability of course design and practical courses for online mode, and the need for an overhaul of pedagogy were the challenges. Policymakers and digital companies should include infrastructural changes and investments at both the institutional and digital platforms level.

The relevance of the article lies in the fact that in the 21st century the distance learning of vocal arts is becoming increasingly important in the postmodern period. The article characterizes the role and importance of educational innovations in the development of music education during distance learning. The author indicates the most important tasks, the solution of which involves the use of educational innovations during distance learning vocal art in the postmodern period. Along with this, such main directions of innovation activities as the formation of new content of the educational process, assimilation of new pedagogical technologies, and the creation of new varieties of educational institutions are influencing. The topic of the article is relevant in the international context, since examples of relevant innovations at the university level consider a "universal" approach to teaching vocal methodology (with coverage of "child" and "adult" periods as interrelated components), the use of media technologies to find professional information, the study of priority aspects of singing in distance vocal training in the postmodern period. The article presents innovations in vocal arts distance learning in the postmodern era; the use of innovations in vocal arts instruction; the renewal of present-day vocal arts institutions in the postmodern era: the vocal arts distance learning process in the twenty-first century.

As Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) inseridas em ambientes dinâmicos recorrem às estratégias de Capacidade Absortiva (CA) para aprimorar o desempenho organizacional por meio da gestão do conhecimento. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a articulação dos benefícios e desafios da CA e da comunicação organizacional em Instituições de Ensino Superior. Através do método qualitativo por uma revisão sistemática da literatura, foram aplicados critérios de análise e seleção de estudos que, posteriormente, possibilitaram a sistematização das discussões e resultados. Este estudo sistematizou os benefícios identificados entre CA e comunicação organizacional em IES incluem cooperação, compartilhamento de conhecimento entre colaboradores e participação em redes colaborativas, destacando a relação estratégica com o aprimoramento do desempenho organizacional e vantagem competitiva. Quanto aos desafios, foram observados investimentos em recursos tecnológicos, promoção da participação em cursos e treinamentos, e contratação de pessoal altamente qualificado. A originalidade e relevância do estudo residem na abordagem integrada de CA e comunicação organizacional, proporcionando uma compreensão mais holística dos processos em IES. Os resultados destacam a importância estratégica desses elementos para aprimorar a eficácia organizacional. As contribuições teóricas e metodológicas derivam da aplicação da revisão sistemática para mapear os benefícios e desafios, consolidando conhecimento existente de maneira organizada. Ainda, o estudo oferece orientações valiosas para gestores de IES ao identificar áreas prioritárias de investimento, como recursos tecnológicos e desenvolvimento de pessoal, promovendo, assim, uma gestão mais eficiente e adaptativa em ambientes dinâmicos que possam auxiliar na comunicação organizacional das IES.
