In a study with people with KOA it was shown that performance in the 6MWT was highly correlated with the KOA outcome score subscales for pain and quality of life ( Ateef et al, 2016 ). Despite the increase in walking distance covered during the 6MWT, the pain level after the task remained unchanged.…”
