Tertiary Indole Alkaloids of Tabernaemontana dichotoma Seeds

Abstract: From the seeds of Tabernaemontana dichotoma, the alkaloids coronaridine, ibogamine, stemmadenine, tabersonine, voacangine, voaphylline and voaphylline hydroxyindolenine were isolated and identified. The crude seed extract showed spasmolytic activity.
