Dichomine, a Novel Type of Iboga Alkaloid*,**

Abstract: From the leaves of TABERNAEMONTANA DICHOTOMA and the leaves and twigs of T. EGLANDULOSA a new alkaloid was isolated which was assigned structure 1 on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical evidence.
