Abstract:In polarization-sensitive terahertz (THz) communication systems, grating is one of the essential components that filters THz waves at desired frequencies. Based on dielectric rectangular subwavelength waveguide, we propose a THz grating structure to filter two orthogonally polarized states. From numerical simulations, the proposed filter has two passbands with over 20.9 dB extinction ratio and around 21.1 GHz full-width half-maximum.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
