Reduced physical fitness has been documented in Western children and adults over the past five decades. The same trend has been observed among soldiers, but the number of studies is scarce. Thus, the aim of the present study was to investigate temporal changes in physical fitness in Norwegian conscripts. All conscripts who performed entry fitness tests between 2006 and 2020 were included in the study (n = 105 100; 17% females). Endurance was measured with the 3000 m run, while push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups (2006-2016) and medicine ball throw, standing long jump, and pull-ups (2017-2020) were used to measure muscle strength. Mean (95% confidence intervals) 3000 m run time was reduced by 52 (47, 57) seconds in men, 90 (76, 105) seconds in women, and 16 (11, 20) seconds in both sexes combined. Muscle strength increased statistically significantly in four out of five tests in men, three out of six tests in women, and two out of five tests for both sexes combined. Effect sizes for statistically significant changes ranged from 0.06 to 0.82. In conclusion, Norwegian conscripts improved their cardiorespiratory endurance between 2006 and 2020, with improvements observed for most muscle strength tests. When analyzing both sexes combined, the improvements diminished. The latter is attributed to a sevenfold increase in relative number of female conscripts over the 15-year period. The present findings should not be generalized to all young Norwegian men and women since conscripts are selected based on fitness, and only ~15% of the population end up serving.

В статье обоснована методика комплексирования технико-тактического компонента бойцов-рукопашников. Актуальна прикладная значимость владения навыками боевых искусств человеком, усилившая свою ценность в ходе специальной военной операции, и недостаточностью обоснования инновационных дифференцированных методик подготовки в связи с насыщенностью стилей единоборств. Особое значение рукопашного боя отмечено в работах: Ф. В. Емельяненко, В. П. Старченкова, А. Н. Потапчука, А. В. Меркульева, В. А. Кузьмина, Г. А. Бурцева, А. А. Карелина. Однако в исследованиях недостаточно акцентируется внимание на важности сочетанного контента технико-тактических действий. Цель: обосновать и экспериментально проверить эффективность сопряженной методики подготовленности бойцов смешанного единоборства посредством комплексирования технического и тактического компонентов ведения поединка с учетом варьирования ситуационных заданий нарастающей сложности. Гипотеза исследования: использование инновационного содержания ситуационных заданий бойцов смешанного боевого единоборства позволит эффективно комплексировать техническую и тактическую стороны подготовки атлетов, тем самым повышая порог перекрестной сенсибилизации к соревновательной и прикладной их готовности. Использовались методы: теоретический анализ и обобщение; педагогическое наблюдение; мультимедиа-визуализация; эпистемологический анализ; тестирование и контрольные испытания; проверка и оценка соревновательной готовности и физического состояния; моделирование и прогнозирование; педагогический эксперимент; биометрия. Экспериментальная работа реализовывалась с 2022 по 2023 гг. на базах Тамбовского государственного университета им. Г. Р. Державина», учебно-тренировочной базе войсковой части 67606; бойцовского клуба «Ахилес» г. Севастополя с бойцами («Мужчины» / 18 лет и старше) в 3 эта па. Педагогический формирующий эксперимент проводился в естественных условиях учебно-тренировочного процесса войсковой части 67606 на этапе спортивной специализации бойцов сборной команды в период с 15.01.2023 г. по 15.06.2023 г. К исследованию привлекалось 20 спортсменов в возрасте 23,8 ± 1,6 лет, исходя из возможностей войсковой части 67606 с учетом внезапно-оперативного задействования личного состава для ведения боевых действий в зоне специальной военной операции. Результатами педагогического формирующего эксперимента выявлены релевантные средства, формы и методы сочетанного развития технико-тактического компонента ведения боя атлетов смешанного боевого единоборства. Выводы и заключение. Вероятным прогнозом 95% по критерию Стьюдента обоснованы подходы по особенностям применения специально-направленной тренировки, в основе которой определяется содержание 14 ситуационных заданий нарастающей трудности реализации и 3-х режимов их комплексирования: оперативной концентрации; эргономичности; ситуационной активности. In the article presented according to the nomenclature of specialties 5.8.4, 5.8.5, 5.8.7 (pedagogical sciences), the method of integrating the technical and tactical component of hand-to-hand fighters is substantiated. The applied importance of mastering the skills of martial arts by a person, which has increased its value during a special military operation, and the insufficiency of justification of innovative differentiated training methods due to the saturation of martial arts styles are relevant. A brief analysis of the literature. The special importance of hand-to-hand combat is noted in the works of: F. V. Emelianenko, V. P. Starchenkov, A. N. Potapchuk, A. V. Merkulyev, V. A. Kuzmin, G. A. Burtsev, A. A. Karelin. However, research does not sufficiently focus on the importance of the combined content of technical and tactical actions. Objective: to substantiate and experimentally test the effectiveness of the conjugate methodology of training of mixed martial arts fighters by integrating the technical and tactical components of the fight, taking into account the variation of situational tasks of increasing complexity. The hypothesis of the study is that the use of innovative content of situational tasks of mixed martial arts fighters will effectively integrate the technical and tactical aspects of athletes' training, thereby increasing the threshold of cross-sensitization to their competitive and applied readiness. The following methods were used: theoretical analysis and generalization; pedagogical observation; multimedia visualization; epistemological analysis; testing and control tests; verification and assessment of competitive readiness and physical condition; modeling and forecasting; pedagogical experiment; biometrics. Organization of the study. The experimental work was carried out from 2022 to 2023 at the bases of Derzhavin Tambov State University, the training base of military unit 67606; fight club "Achilles" in Sevastopol with fighters ("Men" / 18 years and older) in 3 this pa. The pedagogical formative experiment was carried out in the natural conditions of the educational and training process of military unit 67606 at the stage of sports specialization of the fighters of the national team in the period from 15.01.2023 to 15.06.2023. The study involved 20 athletes aged 23,8 ± 1,6 years, based on the capabilities of military unit 67606, taking into account the sudden operational involvement of personnel for combat operations in the zone of a special military operation. The results of the pedagogical formative experiment revealed the relevant means, forms and methods of combined development of the technical and tactical component of the fight of mixed martial arts athletes. Conclusions and conclusion. The probable forecast of 95% according to the student’s criterion substantiates the approaches to the peculiarities of the application of specially-directed training, which is based on the content of 14 situational tasks of increasing difficulty of implementation and 3 modes of their integration: operational concentration; Ergonomics; situational activity.
ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to assess temporal changes in physical fitness of Chinese adolescents aged 13–18 years from 1985 to 2019.MethodsBody size /composition and physical fitness indicators, including body height, weight, body mass index (BMI), speed, power, flexibility, muscular endurance, and cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF), were selected from Chinese boys and girls aged 13–18 years from eight Chinese National Surveillance on Students’ Constitution and Health from 1985 to 2019. Temporal changes in means were estimated by sample-weighted linear regression at the test × sex × age level, and national trends were estimated by a post-stratification population weighting procedure.ResultsOverall mean body height, weight and BMI increased significantly for Chinese adolescents over 34 years. There was a small improvement for boys in speed (Effect size [ES] = −0.21, 95% confidence interval [CI] = −0.44 ~ 0.02), a small improvement for boys in power (ES = 0.24, 95% CI = −0.20 ~ 0.69), a small improvement for girls in flexibility (ES = 0.45, 95% CI = 0.15 ~ 0.76), a moderate decline for boys (ES = -0.53 95% CI = −0.84 ~ −0.21) and a moderate improvement for girls (ES = 0.61, 95% CI = −0.03 ~ 1.26) in muscular endurance, and large declines in cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) for boys (ES = 0.93, 95% CI = 0.64 ~ 1.21) and girls (ES = 0.93, 95% CI = 0.58 ~ 1.27) from 1985 to 2019. These trends in each component of fitness were more positive for adolescents aged 13–15 years than that of adolescents aged 16–18 years in both sexes, except for girls in flexibility.ConclusionThe decline in CRF was most pronounced among Chinese children and adolescents from 1985 to 2019, suggesting a future decline in population health that needs attention.
