Temporal Bone Fractures Caused by Ballistic Projectiles: A Systematic Review

Abstract: Objective Ballistic injuries to the temporal bone are uncommon but devastating injuries that damage critical neurovascular structures. This review describes outcomes after ballistic injuries to the temporal bone and offers initiatives for standardized high-quality future research.
