The study conducted by Choe et al in 2019 evaluated the influence of Telmisartan on inflammatory mediators in murine macrophages stimulated with LPS from Prevotella intermedia, an important periodontitisassociated species (Choe et al, 2019). They found out, that Telmisartan led to significant inhibition of LPS-induced generation of inflammatory mediators, such as IL-1β, which is in accordance with the presented data.…”
