Teknik Pemberian Benzilaminopurin dan Pemupukan NPK untuk Meningkatkan Produksi dan Mutu Benih 2) 1) True Shallot Seed di Dataran Rendah

Abstract:
Show more

“…The use of beneficial bacteria or endophytic bacteria is utilizing natural hormones (growth regulators) produced by these bacteria. The use of synthetic growth regulators in shallots has been widely practiced [41,42,43] but the results were still varied, and further research was needed. The use of a consortium of endophytic bacteria producing growth regulators enriched by seaweed can be an alternative to synthetic growth regulators, especially to support organic agriculture [44,45].…”

“…By using the TSS, higher production, improvement of seed health performance, and efficiency could be obtained [6,7]. Furthermore, the technology enables the seed to be stored longer in a warehouse and easier in maintaining and transporting it to other areas as well as an alternative to providing the shallot seed availability throughout the year in Indonesia [8].…”

“…In recent years, the study of true shallot seed production in Indonesia has received more attention. They include selection of area production, nutrient management and plant density (Rosliani et al 2016a;Rosliani et al 2016b;Hilman et al 2016;Palupi et al 2016). The successful and efficient technology of planting true shallot seed at different locations and cultivars remain, however, a major challenge.…”
