Tek Denekli Araştırmalarda Etki Büyüklüğü Hesaplamada Kullanılan Örtüşmeyen Veriye Dayalı Yöntemlerin İncelenmesi

Abstract: Bilimsel dayanaklı uygulamalar (BDU), okullarda tüm çocukların öğrenme çıktılarını iyileştirmeyi amaçlayan öğretim yöntem ve stratejilerini içermektedir. Son yıllarda, eğitim alanında BDU’ların belirlenmesine yönelik hareket, meta-analiz uygulamalarını yaygınlaştırmış ve tek denekli deneysel araştırma (TDA) gibi alanlarda etki büyüklüğü hesaplama yöntemlerin geliştirilmesine neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, TDA bağlamında etki büyüklüğü hesaplamaları için geliştirilen beş yöntemi (TauÖrtüşmeme, Tau-U, Phi,… Show more

“…According to (Scruggs and Mastropieri, 2021), a non-overlapping data percentage of 90% and above can be interpreted as “very effective,” between 70% and 90% as “effective,” between 50% and 70% as “suspicious” and below 50% as “ineffective” (Tekin İftar, 2012). The Tau-U method, which shows the strongest correlation with the visual analysis results among the effect size calculation methods used in single-subject studies and exhibits optimum performance, was used (Balıkçı et al, 2022). In the study, a Tau-U calculation was also made using the program available at https://singlecaseresearch.org/calculators/tau-u to estimate the effect size of the intervention program.…”
