Technology transfer materials — Are we learning the technology of transfer?

Abstract: The process of producing written documents for use in technology transfer or extension is reviewed. Despite a well documented understanding of this process, when recent examples of extension materials are tested against a checklist of best practice of physical attributes (a technology of transfer), a departure is evident.
