This paper presents a high level review and discussion about e-learning and proposes the use of interactive learning as a recommended method for staff training in industry and academia. Interactive learning is focused on the integrated e-learning and face-to-face learning to ensure that the process of learning can stimulate learners' interests, report their progress and have tutors to provide their feedback and guide learners to the expected targets. Learning activities and varieties have been illustrated with discussion about how industry and academia can use interactive learning. Five successful examples of interactive learning to demonstrate the effectiveness of interactive learning. Positive impacts have been reported in RBS, SMEs using SAP, University of Cambridge, University of Greenwich and Leeds Beckett University to support the positive outcomes for learners and trainers. Future directions have been discussed, particularly the use of emerging services can enhance the learning experience and satisfaction for learners and trainers.

Aarhus Universitet (AU) vedtog i 2011 en ambitiøs politik for educational it med en række indsatsområder, hvoraf særligt anskaffelsen og implementeringen af en fælles e-læringsplatform, uddannelse af universitetets undervisere samt udvikling af undervisningen er af højeste prioritet (Aarhus Universitet, 2011). Pga. begrænsede midler har der imidlertid været behov for en ekstraordinær systematisk og effektiv måde at håndtere implementerings- og udviklingsarbejdet på. Dette bevirkede, at Science and Technology (ST) i 2013 udviklede et learning design-framework, STREAM (Godsk, 2013), til at guide transformeringen af kurser og som et omdrejningspunkt for uddannelse af undervisere på fakultetets adjunktpædagogikum. I 2015 blev STREAM endvidere adopteret af Faculty of Health (HE) og her yderligere operationaliseret til et såkaldt toolkit vha. Dee Finks castle-top diagram for således at muliggøre eksplicit design af sammenhængende undervisningsforløb (Conole & Fill, 2005; Fink, 2013). En operationalisering, der betød, at learning design-tilgangen også kunne benyttes til at pædagogisk kvalificere implementeringen og ibrugtagningen af universitetets nye e-læringsplatform, Blackboard Learn. I artiklen beskriver vi vores learning design-framework, STREAM, de dertilhørende toolkits ved de våde fag (dvs. fag på HE og ST ved AU), samt tre cases omkring hvorledes framework er anvendt til såvel uddannelse af undervisere og transformering af kurser. Ydermere reflekteres der over learning design-tilgangen som metode til systematisk og effektiv implementering og udvikling af educational it ved et universitet.

Treinamentos corporativos a distância via web vêm se tornando cada vez mais freqüentes, à medida que as empresas precisam continuamente capacitar seus profissionais a um custo acessível. No entanto, de um modo geral, as organizações não sabem quais são os fatores-chave de sucesso para iniciativas dessa natureza. Assim, este artigo investiga alguns fatores críticos de sucesso associados a esses empreendimentos digitais. Para tal, o método de estudo de casos múltiplos divergentes é utilizado, analisando-se dois treinamentos corporativos na web realizados por uma grande empresa multinacional - um considerado caso de sucesso e outro de fracasso. A partir da comparação dos resultados obtidos, pela análise quantitativa dos dados coletados usando-se regressões bi e multivariadas, assim como testes de comparação de médias, e vis-à-vis o frame teórico adotado para avaliação de treinamentos na web, pode-se concluir que "orientação dos objetivos", "motivação dos alunos" e "suporte metacognitivo" foram os três fatores críticos de sucesso encontrados.
