“…To consider how those studies could affect production methods for 5-EMF, a summary of technoeconomic analyses (TEAs) studied on biomass-derived chemicals (furans, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF), 2,5-dimethylfuran (DMF), 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA), or γ-valerolactone (GVL)) were compiled (Table ).
