Strengthening construction for teaching staff is an eternal theme of development and construction for colleges, and it is also the focus of personnel management in colleges. China is swiftly transitioning from the industrial age to the era of intelligence as a result of the rapid growth of information technology and artificial intelligence. Colleges and universities have reached a new stage in their evolution, one marked by intelligent use of technology, as represented by the fourth generation of information technology: cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence. Higher standards for college professors’ teaching abilities have been imposed by this new policy. It is therefore beneficial to evaluate teachers’ teaching abilities from an artificial intelligence perspective to improve the overall quality of college education. First, this work researches and improves the teaching ability training strategies of college teachers driven by artificial intelligence from different levels. Second, this work proposes a neural network (IPSO-BP) for evaluating the teaching ability of college teachers via artificial intelligence technology. Aiming at the issues in BP network, this work constructs IPSO by improving the weight decay strategy and learning factor of PSO algorithm. Then, it uses IPSO to optimize the BP to construct IPSO-BP. Third, the results of the experiments in this work suggest that the strategy proposed here is both feasible and preferable.

L2 Writing Anxiety and Teacher’s Communication Behavior as Predictors of Research Self-Efficacy of Students

The purpose of this study was to determine whether second language writing anxiety and teacher’ communication behavior significantly predict students’ research self-efficacy. The working group for the present study, in which quantitative descriptive-predictive design was employed, included 187 students enrolled in Research 1 and 2 subjects at UM Digos College. The participants answered adapted standard questionnaires to quantify which dimension/s of Second Language Writing Anxiety and Teacher’s Communication Behavior significantly predict/s research self-efficacy. The gathered data were interpreted using the mean in determining the central tendency and Pearson-r. Regression analysis was used to predict the value of research self-efficacy based on the value of writing anxiety and teachers’ communication behavior. The results revealed that the level of L2 writing anxiety of students is moderate. Likewise, the level of teacher’s communication behavior was revealed as high and the level of research self-efficacy is also high. The result also shows that there is no significant relationship between L2 writing anxiety and research self-efficacy but indicators of L2 writing anxiety posed a significant relationship with research self-efficacy while teachers’ communication behavior resulted in no significant relationship to research self-efficacy, but two indicators of TCB posed a significant relationship to RSE. The findings corroborated the four domains for SLWA and TCB, which are cognitive, somatic, challenging, and encouragement and praise; significantly predict research self-efficacy. The findings obtained in this study suggest that students look for ways to enhance their confidence in performing tasks related to research papers. The Influence of Teacher-Student Communication on the Importance of Physical Education

During adolescence, there is a significant risk of sports abandonment associated with sedentarism and overweight. For this reason, Physical Education (PE) classes should be an opportunity to bring physical activity and sport closer to schoolchildren developing, and consolidating healthy lifestyle habits. Considering the importance that teaching communication procedures can have in the motivation of students, and given the lack of specific studies that investigate the influence of these processes on the motivation to practice sport in the context of PE, the aim of this study is to determine the effect of the teacher's communicational dimensions (challenging, encouragement and praise, non-verbal support, understanding and friendliness, and controlling) on the perception of the importance given to PE. The sample was composed of a total of 203 PE students between 10 and 16 years old. The mean (M), standard deviation (SD), skewness (S) and kurtosis (K) of the dimensions of the Teacher Communication (TC) and Importance of Physical Education (IPE) were analysed. In order to determine the relationship between the variables analysed, Pearson’s correlation is used. With an aim of determining the effect of the perception of the TC in the classroom on the students' IPE, linear regression is carried out. In data processing, the SPSS 23.0 software is used. The results obtained show that the TC has an effect of 19.7% on IPE. Understanding and friendliness, and controlling dimension are being analysed with the highest standardized regressions coefficient in students' perception of IPE.
