The fast progress of the Medical Science as well as introduction of newer technologies makes Teaching in Medical science challenging. It is difficult to teach the Medical students in all the aspects of medical science and produce good, well learned, treating doctors within a span of four and a half years. Introduction of non treating branches in the final MBBS, as clinical subjects, has compounded the problem. The paucity of time to teach the treating branches in the final year, has caused confusion amongst the mind of the teachers of the treating branches. In such a scenario, we thought that it is worth to look into the ancient methods of teaching, which are still relevant in today's world. The present activities of the MCI, is confusing. The effort of re teaching the old and senior teachers, how to teach, is failing. This necessitates re-look into the past to introduce new ideas into medical education methodology. Here we look into the system of teaching followed by the Islamic faith. Islamic scholars spread the light of knowledge to the west. They were voracious observers, readers as well as energetic writers. These scholars took the wisdom of the east to the wild of the west. Although the journal publications on the subject of Islamic methodologies are sparse, the materials available are very useful in providing an insight to the teaching methods in Islam. Following the disciplined methods, the students learn without fail and spread the gist of knowledge in the society around. It is worth to look into the methods of the teaching in this one and half millennia old system and see if some input can be made into the modern methodology of teaching in the modern Medical Education delivery in India. The available literature on the subject sheds enough light to the teaching methods in Islam. Many of these steps can be incorporated in the teaching methodology in the Medical education in India. Especially introduction of the AETCOM and the faculty development program by the MCI recently, are good in intentions but has opened up new challenges and questions. This may lead to the dilution of the criteria of the teachers of the teachers as a result the damage will be deep and permanent. We discussed some important steps as well as guidelines based on the highly successful teaching methods in Islam in this article for looking to incorporate some of these methods into the MCI Medical education system. Teaching methods in Islam have survived the taste of time and Millennia. It is high time that some of the principles be looked into and utilized to improve the Medical education in India.

The process of teaching and learning containing both elements of Naqli and Aqli is very important to create a generation that develops from the diversity of knowledge which does not separate between religious and modern science knowledge. It is in accordance to the philosophy, vision and mission of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), the use of both Naqli and Aqli knowledges have been applied in chemistry course. Thus, this study is aimed to discover the students" perception towards the integration of Naqli and Aqli in the teaching and learning of chemistry course in Tamhidi Centre, USIM. To achieve the objective of this study, data were collected using quantitative method through questionnaires from 106 of Tamhidi students consisting of the groups from Medicine, Dentistry and Science and Technology. Responses from those students has provided with positive insights as they are exposed to knowledge of the science of chemistry mentioned in al-Quran. The findings of this study revealed that every item in the questionnaire has been given a good result with mean score exceeds four out of five-point Likert scale. Majority of students agreed that they were able to relate the concept of chemistry with revelation knowledge through the integration of Naqli and Aqli in teaching and learning. It is also found that there is a need to train the teachers regarding teaching methods in delivering Naqli and Aqli knowledge for better understanding among students. This is because the success of integrating Naqli and Aqli knowledge depends on how far the knowledge is mastered by the teachers. Further studies can be conducted to identify the effectiveness of Naqli and Aqli's approach among students in modern science subjects.

This study aims to produce interactive multimedia learning Arabic. The type of research is research and development with stages consisting of five stages of development, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning media. In the analysis phase, we conducted data collection to get the preliminary data needed. Furthermore, the analysis aims to obtain data on how the media concept will be created. The initial design stage has used a storyboard to facilitate the implementation of the design, at the implementation stage, the design is applied to the actual design using the Microsoft PowerPoint program. The final stage is testing conducted by material experts and media experts as well as trials conducted with lecturers and students at the State Islamic Institute of Kerinci. Based on all the stages carried out, a product in the form of interactive multimedia learning Arabic is feasible and effectively used as a learning medium. From the results of field trials getting the final assessment scores obtained for multimedia Arabic learning that had been developed was obtaining an average score of 43.70 in the very good category with an ideal percentage of 87.40%. Based on this assessment, the interactive multimedia of learning Arabic are feasible as a learning medium. The results of this study concluded that the interactive multimedia product of the Arabic language learning that was developed was feasible and effectively applied in learning Arabic at the State Islamic Institute of Kerinci.
