GeoGebra is an interactive geometry, algebra, statistics, and calculus application designed for teaching and learning math, science, and engineering. Its dynamic interface allows its users to accurately and interactively visualize their work, models, and results. GeoGebra employs the synthesis of three key features: modeling, visualization, and programming (MVP). Many studies have shown the positive effects of GeoGebra on the efficiency and effectiveness of learning and teaching topics related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In this study, we discuss how GeoGebra provides an environment for learning that is very interactive and collaborative between the learner and the instructor. We also show how integrating GeoGebra into the learning scheme can help improve the skills and knowledge of school and university students in numerous advanced mathematical courses, such as calculus, mathematical statistics, linear algebra, linear programming, computer-aided design, computer-aided geometric design, analytic and projective geometry, and graphical representation. Therefore, this study shows the effectiveness of GeoGebra and its MVP key features in science and engineering, particularly in topics related to mathematics. Each key feature of GeoGebra is thoroughly analyzed, and further analyses, along with how GeoGebra can be helpful in different topics, are discussed.

The ongoing societal transformation propelled by innovation and digitalization is amplifying the demand for technological adeptness among current and upcoming professionals. Consequently, there's a pressing need to revamp the educational system and its methodologies to elevate the requisite skill set. Spatial reasoning, innovative thinking, and creativity stand as pivotal proficiencies essential for enabling future professionals to swiftly craft adaptable prototypes catering to client needs. However, conventional teaching approaches exhibit shortcomings in nurturing spatial reasoning, necessitating deeper exploration within the realm of education. This study delves into novel 3D design tools aimed at facilitating three-dimensional modelling within educational settings. The findings underscore the imperative use of digital tools in crafting 3D objects, fostering the development of spatial visualization skills. Moreover, they emphasize the significance of intertwining ICT knowledge, programming skills, and pertinent soft skills. Such an amalgamation equips future professionals with enhanced work capabilities, a comprehensive grasp of market needs, and refined product commercialization strategies.

In the modern era where technology usage is a tradition of the generation, integrating the teaching and learning with mediums that could catch up and satisfy pupils' interest is noteworthy. In line with this, the contributions of GeoGebra in the teaching-learning of mathematics: as a tool to foster students' interest and achievement, and as an environment to flourish different learning styles are explored in this study. Besides, the cautions to consider before implementing a GeoGebra integrated lesson with the challenges, limitations and areas of future development are indicated. Among these: the belief and technology fluency of users and the student class ratio are found to be among the challenges for effective integration of GeoGebra in mathematics lessons. The difficulty of some commands in the input bar especially for students and teachers with no prior programming experience are considered among the limitations of GeoGebra.
