Abstract:Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) has been successfully applied to several important application domains such as medicine, geophysics and industrial imaging. EIT offers a high temporal resolution, which allows to track the location of a moving target on a conductive surface accurately. Existing EIT methods are geared towards high image quality instead of smooth target trajectories, which makes them suboptimal for target tracking. We combine EIT methods with hidden Markov models for tracking moving targets … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
