Tailor-Made Dynamic Fluorophores: Precise Structures Controlling the Photophysical Properties

Abstract: Organic fluorophores with dynamic conformations in the excited state have played a significant role in applications of organic functional dyes. Among them, dihydrophenazine-based dynamic fluorophores involving a photoinduced structural planarization process in the excited state exhibited large Stokes shifts and conformation-dependent multicolor emissions. With the developments of synthetic strategies, precise modifications on dihydrophenazinebased scaffolds have successfully afforded a variety of precise molec… Show more

“…According to the Dimensions, our most-cited articles in the journal to date are the microwave-assisted synthesis of 2D COFs, which have exceptional iodine adsorption capacities, facile rapid synthesis, and excellent reusability, authored by Xinle Li and colleagues, and a comprehensive review that summarized the size effects of atomically precise gold nanoclusters in catalysis authored by Rongchao Jin and co-workers. The next most frequently cited articles are: mixture separations in fixed-bed adsorbers by Rajamani Krishna, halide perovskite photovoltaics perspective by Atsushi Wakamiya and coauthors, tailor-made dynamic fluorophores by He Tian and coauthors, and new method of catalytic radical generation from unactivated alkyl chlorides using zirconocene and photoredox catalysis by Junichiro Yamaguchi and co-workers.…”
