“…After oral administration, deterioration and spreading of the dermatitis to previously unaffected skin (48,49) and generalized maculopapular rashes have been seen (50,51). Provocations with hydrocortisone have given flare‐up reactions in areas of previous contact dermatitis and old patch test sites (52,53). No reports of corticosteroid‐containing enema resulting in systemic adverse effects have been published.…”
