“…The monomer conversions in Table 1 were quite high when compared to those in previous reports on the precipitation polymerization of DVB and DVB-St, where 24 h of polymerization time was needed to reach the final monomer conversion, which increased at a quite slow pace. [18,21] To find out how the monomer conversion evolved in the present system, three runs were carried out with a varied TMPTA/St ratio while keeping the monomer concentration constant at 2 vol.-% and the initiator concentration at 2 wt.-%.
