“…The double ring present in the NaP zeolite backbone can be demonstrated by a band of 603 cm −1 [32]. The vibrational peaks of the infrared spectra of the two samples matched well with the typical NaP zeolite in the literature, confirming the successful synthesis of NaP zeolite [33,34]. Figure 5a,b shows the TG and DSC curves for NaP zeolite with different SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 molar ratio.…”

“…The symmetric stretching and out‐of‐plane bending vibration absorption peaks of Al–O appeared at 692 and 463 cm −1 , respectively . Peaks in the 500‐1000 cm −1 range were the skeletal vibration bands of NaP . Owing to the hydration of zeolite, the bending and stretching vibration absorption peaks of O–H appeared at 1431, 1647, and 3627 cm −1 …”

“…Recently, natural minerals and solid waste as raw materials, such as fly ash, 9–11 metakaolin, 12 and bentonite, 13 have aroused a great interest to the cost‐effective synthesis of zeolite P. For example, by adding a small amount of NaOH and deionized water, Ji et al obtained well‐crystallized zeolite P from coal gasification coarse slag by a hydrothermal method, where the synthesis gel had to be aged for 24 h and then hydrothermally treated at 105°C for 12 h 14 . Bohra et al prepared cashew nut‐like zeolite P from agro‐waste by hydrothermal method at 100°C for 48 h 15 . Although natural minerals and solid waste as raw materials exhibit the low‐cost advantage, the solubility of silicon or aluminum sources and impurities from these materials in the hydrothermal process lead to longer crystallization time and lower crystallization purity than those of the products synthesized from pure chemical reagents.…”
