Synthesis of a Highly Chained Polymeric Connecting in the Structure of a Multilayered Package for Garments

Abstract: When using lightweight fabrics of costume-dress assortment for manufacture of clothes, the most challenging problem is to correlate changes in properties of shell fabric and fusible interlining during its transformation from flat to volumetric state. Developed the reinforced interlining materials capable of forming in conjunction with the shell fabric composites, possessing optimum shaping characteristics. They are easily shaped, and after a final wet-heat treatment they obtain required rigidity and elasticity… Show more

“…Methods for designing hyperbranched structures of the interfacial layer of composites due to self-assembly of the binder with embedding of grafted branches into the pore system of the textile base of prepregs have been proposed [15,16]. Special attention is paid to the degree of dispersion of a grafted oligomer, which must correspond to the size of mesopores in the fibrous elements.…”

“…Traditionally, the fusing process is used to produce flat garment components that are further shaped by sewing techniques to conform to body shapes. Innovation in polymer science has led to the production of mouldable fused fabric composites [40,41]. Macromolecular compounds along with the resin are applied by screen printing to produce any type of fusible interlining with woven, knit or nonwoven base.…”

“…We have proposed a technology of FIM modification using a special polymer coating based on selecting a modifying polymer (MP) dispersion that can interact with a thermoplastic polymer (TP) forming a highly branched graft-copolymer, with the lateral branches penetrating into the pore system of the fibrous materials [15,16]. The conditions of producing copolymers of this type within the structure of the fused fabric composite formed must be suitable for MP and TP interaction and retention of the adhesive properties for TP and penetration into the fibrous component pores for MP.…”
