Synthesis, crystal structures, fluorescence, electrochemiluminescent properties, and Hirshfeld surface analysis of four Cu/Mn Schiff‐basecomplexes

Abstract: Four new complexes [Cu(L 1) 2 ] n (1), [Mn(L 1) 2 ] n (2), [Cu(L 2) 2 ] n (3), [Mn(L 2) 2 ] n (4, HL 1 = 2-(((4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)imino)methyl)-4,6-dichlorophenol; HL 2 = 2-(((4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)imino)methyl)-4,6-dibromophenol) were synthesized by microreaction bottle method. Complexes 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 are isomorphous heterostructures having the same molecular structure. The structures of 1-4 were characterized using single X-ray diffraction, Fouriertransform infrared spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffrac… Show more

“…Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are a class of functional materials with open framework structures containing potential voids, which have great potential for use across a broad range of applications, such as gas sorption/separation, catalysis, chemical sensing, , magnetism, , and fluorescence. In recent years, plenty of research studies have focused on selectively capturing CO 2 from flue gas, natural gas, and other greenhouse gas sources, involving CO 2 /N 2 and CO 2 /CH 4 separation, which aim to alleviate the damage caused by global warming. There are many advantages of MOFs for CO 2 sorption and separation from gas mixtures, including their chemical stability, large surface areas, and tunable void volumes and binding sites.…”

“…In the last two decades, the design and synthesis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) has attracted more and more attentions due to their a unique structure and potential applications in the elds of magnetism [1,2], ectrochemiluminescence [3,4], supercapacitors [5][6][7], etc. Generally, to obtain metal organic framework materials with interesting topological structure and performance, many in uencing factors should be considered, such as metal ions, organic ligand, temperature, pH value, etc., among which the selected ligand is crucial in the construction system.…”
