“…The chelate rings Cu(1, 1′)–N(4, 4′)–N(5, 5′)–C(11, 11′)–N(12, 12′)–N(13, 13′) adopt a boat conformation, with puckering parameters, Q = 0.894(2) Å, θ = 96.23(13)°, and φ = 181.16(15)°, with the Cu1 and C11 atoms deviated to the same side of the main plane that contains the six‐membered ring, by –0.5526(9) Å and –0.473(3) Å, respectively. These values are in agreement with the conformation observed in the coordination polymer [Cu 2 (µ‐SCN) 3 ( L ) 2 ] and the cationic complex [Cr( L )(H 2 O) 2 Cl 2 ] + , showing that its conformation is similar, despite the differences in the metallic center, the coordination number, or the length of the coordinated bonds , . The molecular conformation is helped by the formation of intramolecular C11–H11B ··· Cl3 hydrogen bonds, with distances of 2.67 Å and 3.445(3) Å for H ··· Cl and C ··· Cl, respectively.…”

“…It has been reported that changes in the orientation and crystallization of the polymers can improve their barrier properties [ 32 ]. The obtained polymers showed crystallinity values similar to those of the PCL produced using a zinc catalyst or the chromium complexes we have reported [ 12 , 13 ].…”

“…The ROP was carried out under solvent-free conditions with a monomer-complex ratio of 490:1. The synthesized PCL was highly crystalline (61%) and had a decomposition temperature above 300 °C [ 12 , 13 ].…”

“…Furthermore, triazole complexes showed very good antimicrobial [ 15 ] and antitumor [ 16 ] activities. The combination of metals and azoles is a promising strategy to develop new efficient drugs, even against drug-resistant pathogens [ 17 , 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 , 22 ]. The development of these new drugs is related to the complexation of azole derivatives with transition metals that have low toxicity and are biocompatible [ 18 , 23 , 24 ].…”

The development of these new drugs is related to the complexation of azole derivatives with transition metals that have low toxicity and are biocompatible [ 18 , 23 , 24 ]. Previous studies demonstrated that the resulting complexes may have higher antimicrobial activity than the corresponding free azole ligands, and, in some cases, exceeding that of standard test substances (nystatin) [ 25 , 26 ].…”
