Synthesis, Characterization and X-ray Crystal Structures of the New Mixed Compound Rb1.89Na0.11(SO4)0.89(SeO4)0.11Te(OH)6

Abstract: At room temperature, the new compound Rb 1.89 Na 0.11 (SO 4 ) 0.89 (SeO 4 ). 011 Te(OH) 6 crystallizes in the monoclinic system with space group P2 1 /c. The unit cell parameters are: a = 13.655 Å (4), b = 6.681 Å (4), c = 11.497 Å , b = 107.07°(3), V = 1002.60(5) Å 3 , Z = 4 and q cal = 3.26 g.cm -1 . The structure is stabilized by interplanar O-HÁÁÁO hydrogen bonds involving all the H atoms that belong to the OH groups of the Te(OH) 6 octahedra.
