Synthesis, Characterization, and Photochemical Studies of Some Copper Complexes of Schiff Bases Derived from 3‐Hydrazino‐6‐methyl[1,2,4]triazin‐5(4H)one

Abstract: Cu(II) complexes of new bidentate and tridentate Schiff bases derived from the condensation of 3-hydrazino-6-methyl[1,2,4]triazin-5(4H)one and aromatic aldehyde derivatives were synthesized and characterized. The structure of the complexes proposed according to elemental analyses, molar conductance, IR UV-Visible absorption spectra is square-planar.
