The high values observed for the vanadate are due to the size of V 5+ (0.31 Å ) greater than that of P 5+ (0.17 Å ) [13].…”

To our knowledge the composition BiMgVO 5 has not been reported.…”

Recently, we have reported the synthesis of BiMn 2 PO 6 , BiMn 2 VO 6 , BiMn 2 AsO 6 , and BiMnPO 5 (18,19 4 and is due to a charge transfer transition, O 2p/Bi 6 s to V 3d. For the preparation of polycrystalline BiMnAsO 5 , the reactants with a 1:1:1 ratio were sealed in an evacuated silica ampoule and heated at 8001C for 30 h and quenched.…”
