Synthesis and sorption properties of polymeric sorbents molecularly imprinted with uric acid

Abstract: Polymeric sorbents molecularly imprinted with a uremic toxin, uric acid, were prepared by suspension copolymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate in the presence of uric acid.
