“…[6][7][8][9] Polyamide can also be used to prepare synthetic polymer composite materials, and many nanocomposite materials are attracting attention at present. [10][11][12][13][14] However, the raw materials of traditional nylon products mostly rely on petrochemical products. Bio-based products have attracted substantial attention because of their environmental friendliness and degradability.…”

“…Photocatalysis based on conjugated polymers is also a promising candidate for both CO 2 capture and photoconversion reaction. It's because, as proven by polymeric photovoltaic systems, one may take advantages of conjugated polymers' chemical stability 14,15 and outstanding light harvesting properties over a broad range of solar energy from ultraviolet (UV), visible, to near infrared (NIR) light by easily tuning their molecular structure. [16][17][18] However, CO 2 -xation has been regarded as the most difficult barrier to overcome in order to improve overall efficiency.…”

“…Therefore, it necessitates the development of a global energy supply based on limitless resources, which should also generate less greenhouse gasses than the conventional energy sources or nonrenewable energy sources such as fossil fuel to reduce detrimental effect on the environment 2 . So many kinds of renewable energies have been proposed such as wind power, 3 hydroelectricity, 4 geothermal, 5 biomass, 6 hydrogen energy, 7 and solar cells 8,9 to name a few. Solar cell is an existing class of renewable energy technology, which can directly convert solar energy to electricity, have become one of the most promising candidates for addressing global energy issues 10 to minimize the greenhouse emission and our imprints on the environment 11 .…”

“…Initial OPV devices are based on a vapor‐deposited donor‐acceptor small molecule heterojunction but, during last two decades, dramatic increase of performances has been achieved, particularly through the development of solution and roll to roll processed bulk heterojunction (BHJ) polymer solar cells (PSCs) 14 . During past decades, conjugated polymers such as polypyrrole, polyacetylene, polythiophene, polyaniline, 17 and their derivatives have emerged as cost effective functional material for PSCs 18–20 as the charge transport in conjugated polymer is anisotropic, resulting from electrons delocalized along the polymer backbone and the overlap of π‐orbitals 21 . In a typical BHJ PSCs, the photoactive blend layer comprising a low electron affinity conjugated polymer acts as an electron donor (p‐type) mixed with fullerene derivative as high electron affinity material act as an electron acceptor (n‐type) 22–24 which is sandwiched between a high work function indium titanium oxide (ITO) electrode (anode) and a top low work function metal electrode as cathode 25 .…”
