Synthesis and Characterization Chitosan-Glutaraldehide Alginate Blends for Candidate Hemodialysis Membrane

Abstract: The composite membrane was produced by mixing the chitosan and sodium alginate solutions followed glutaraldehyde as a crosslinking agent for filtration of Ca 2+ ion, phosphate ion, sodium salicylate, urea, and albumin.
