Synthesis and Biological Activity of Novel Acyclic Versions of NeplanocinA
Abstract: Novel acyclic Neplanocin A analogues were designed and synthesized. The coupling of the alkyl bromide with nucleosidic bases (T, U, 5-FU, 5-IU, C, A) and desilylation afforded a series of novel acyclic nucleosides. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antiviral and antitumor activity.
