Synthesis and biological activity of 2‐substituted‐3‐ethyl‐N‐alkyl/arylindoles

Abstract: Some new 2‐substituted‐N‐(aminomethylaryl/aminoethylaryl)indole‐3ylglyoxylamides 3a‐h and their corresponding 2‐substituted‐3‐ethyl‐N‐alkyl/aryl indoles 4a‐d,f,g were synthesized. These compounds were evaluated for their cardiovascular as well as antiparkinsonian activities.
