“…The crystal structures of three monovacant silicotungstate derivatives have been reported: (i) [SiW 11 O 39 Ru III (dmso)] 5− , isolated by heating the aquo derivative with a large excess of dmso, (ii) [SiW 11 O 39 M II (im)] 6− (M = Mn, Co; im = imidazole), cocrystallizing with the aquo derivative, and (iii) [SiW 11 O 39 Co II (4,4′-bpy)] 6− . Hydrothermal conditions have also been used to crystallize insoluble salts with [PW 11 O 39 Co II (pbpy)] 5− (pbpy =5-phenyl-2-(4-pyridinyl)pyridine) or [PMo 11 O 39 Co II (4,4′-bipy)] 5− POMs . The Keggin-type organoimido derivative [PW 11 O 39 {Re V NC 6 H 5 }] 4− and the ruthenium−phosphiniminato derivative [PW 11 O 39 {Ru V NPPh 3 }] 3− have also been characterized.…”

Up to date, several Keggin structure supported zero dimensional compounds have been reported [14][15][16][17], but the one dimensional chainlike compounds are still limited.
