“…Although comparable features to PCL/Col NFs were achieved by encapsulating DHART into PCL/Col NFs, the mean thickness was increased to 320 nm, demonstrating a homogenous distribution of the drug in the polymeric solution and a steady increase in the NF diameter as the drug and polymer are physically blended. These findings are in agreement with those of Dizaji et al They found that the manufactured PLGA/chitosan NFs were bead-free, and smooth fibers with a mean size of 230 nm while the average thickness of paclitaxel-loaded PLGA/chitosan NFs increased to 290 nm (Serati-Nouri et al, 2021).…”

“…The therapeutic properties of DHART are attributed to its peroxide bridge, which can produce particularly potent oxidative stress (Huo et al, 2021). The spectrum of pure DHART displayed typical bands at 3379 cm -1 , (O-H stretching vibrations), 2947 cm -1 (C-H stretching), 1093 cm -1 (C-O stretching), 875 cm -1 (O-O-C stretching), and 825 cm -1 (O-O stretching) presenting characters of O-O-C entityrespectively that characterizes 1,2,4-trioxanering (Serati-Nouri et al, 2021). In the PCL/Col NF spectra, the typical peaks at 1184 cm -1 , 1220 cm -1 , and 1727 cm -1 were assigned to the stretching band of C-O, C-O-C, and carboxylic acid functional groups of PCL, respectively.…”

“…The biocompatibility of the biomimetic NPs synthesized through different methods from various sources must be clarified before clinical translation ( 27 , 80 , 81 ). Even though CM-coated NPs eliminate problems associated with conventional free drugs and nanocarriers, such as the administration of free therapeutic molecules.…”

“…The researchers have been motivated to imitate natural systems for a variety of biomedical applications by the properties of biomolecules and their characteristics at the cellular or molecular scale. The study of cell development, cell growth, cellular connections, hormone signaling pathways, and metabolic regulation are all covered within the field of biomimesis ( 26 , 27 ). This review paper summarizes recent advancements in synthesizing biomimetic nanocarriers, including an overview of their current state of progress, utilization in clinical trials, and commercial products.…”

“…It has been reported that zeolites with high Si/Al ratios (10− 100) have high hydrophobicity, leading to a slow release of carried molecules in buffer solutions. 11 ZSM-5 zeolite can be regarded as a high Si/Al ratio zeolite, which has a special cage structure and high thermal stability, showing great potential for encapsulation and controlled release of small molecules. 12 These advantages indicate that ZSM-5 zeolite can serve as an encapsulating material for plant polyphenols.…”
