Efficient land‐use management could be optimized through appropriate advice regarding land suitability and achieving a reasonable yield while preserving soil and environmental conditions. The main objective of this study was to determine and define those locations capable of wheat cultivation with irrigation in the municipality of N’goussa (Southern Algeria). Expert opinion (EO) method was used for selecting minimum soil data set (MDS‐EO), where six influencing soil properties (sand, pH, salinity, organic matter, gypsum and lime) and other three key parameters (slope, land use/land cover, and proximity to roads and electricity network) were considered important for irrigated wheat cultivation in the study area. Indicators were weighted according to principal component analysis (PCA) loadings and summed. PCA revealed that the selected nine indicators are appropriate for accounting 73.63% of the total variance. Two maps of land suitability were created here (expressed as a soil quality index within a range from 0 to 1) from multivariate analysis and already known standard scoring functions (SSFs) by using two data sets (pure and scored). The distribution of soil quality index (IQI) showed that above 70% of the land was moderately (MS) to highly suitable (HS) for irrigated wheat. The estimation accuracy of soil quality classes has been evaluated using random forests (RF), having as a dependent variable the final class of land suitability used in each map. It was determined that estimation accuracy could reach 60% (pure data set) and 65% (scored data set) at 0.5 cut‐off value for soil quality classes. Final prioritizing according to ranks of sensitivity index (SI) and efficiency ratio (ER) showed that IQI obtained from scored data set is the most suitable approach in soil quality assessment of arid areas. Therefore, it could be applied in southern Algeria for land management, integrated planning and environmental assessments.

With the development of social economy and the over-exploitation of resources, the environmental problems caused by wastewater and exhaust emissions are increasingly serious, which has a significant impact on the sustainable development of human society. Therefore, environmental protection has received more and more attention in recent years. At the same time, under the influence of various capabilities and objective factors, the existing environmental strategy still has some gaps, so it has not played its due role. Therefore, this paper studies the problems in environmental protection by analyzing the management requirements and contents in the natural protection environment. Finally, this paper analyzes the adaptability of natural environment monitoring by using neural network algorithm. Through comparison, the monitoring adaptability after the optimization of the natural protection strategy is 19.8% higher than that before the optimization of the natural protection strategy, and the environmental protection planning is 23.2% higher than that before the optimization of the natural protection strategy. In short, environmental protection is of great significance to the sustainable development of ecology.

This study was planned to identifying the Corona concerns zone during COVID-19 transmission in India. The death rate was very high due COVID-19 pandemic outbreaks which are one of the main reasons for impairment the countries, and it will takes several years for the re-establishment of the fundamental need to ensure the demand of public supply. Currently, like many countries around the world, India is also facing a drastic health crisis due to Corona virus disease. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Geographical Information System (GIS) play important role in making the multi-criteria decisions and identifying the corona concern zone of a larger populated areas across the country in a single platform which can be further helpful for better control, planning, and management during several pandemic outbreaks. The present work is based on the AHP and GIS-assisted identification, analysis, and representation of the state-wise corona concern zone of India. Consequently, the current examination is essential to investigate the Corona concern zone in order to support the management and planning authority of India to improve their strategies in respect to reduce or check the health risk during the emergency of pandemic due to COVID-19. The present study indicated that the state-wise priority of corona concern zone recorded higher in state Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Kerala as compared to the other part of the India. Hence, GIS and AHP are the potential to identify, observe and analyze the COVID-19 Concern Zone.
