Survey on interoperability, security, trust, privacy standardization of cloud computing

Abstract: Cloud computing is a service oriented concept which offers everything as a service. These services are deployed at the server with necessary credentials in order to provide reliable services to the customer. The customer always wants to process and store the data in the cloud with an efficient access over different location. The security is the key parameter to secure the customer's data. The cloud computing security issues are addressed in various standards and techniques which lacks in providing a complete s… Show more

“…This, in turn, allows one to get applications up and running faster, with improved manageability and less maintenance, and the ability to adjust to fluctuating and unpredictable data flow demands during run-time. Technical enablers for cloud capabilities are low-cost computers/servers; low-cost storage; high-capacity networks; and secure software capabilities in form of virtualization and service-oriented architectures [56], [57]. This is really important to ensure a scalable and trusted up-take of Tactile Internet technologies [58].…”

“…The Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) to the cloud users is carried out by the Information Commissioner Office in United Kingdom (ICO) is responsible for using protocols and standards for accessing and using of the personal information in the cloud [16]. Data privacy protocols are related to the data and software transfer protocols, data processing protocols will influence the privacy of the data on cloud [17].…”

“…It may also have enabling effects, such as technology standards improving on technology interoperability and ensure security and privacy for end-users [58], which are all key to HMNs dealing with personal data. Standardisation efforts, such as HL7 in healthcare 3 , may, therefore, have a positive impact on both human and machine, as well as reducing the perceived risk.…”
